January 15, 2023, the defense and review meeting for the 2022 ACM China Rising Star Award and Doctoral Dissertation Award was successfully held in Guangzhou Changlong Hotel. The review meeting aimed to select the winners for the 2022 ACM China Rising Star Award and Doctoral Dissertation Award, who are young scholars and outstanding PhD students respectively that have made outstanding achievements in the field of computer science. Junzhou Luo, Professor of Southeast University and Co-Chair of the ACM China Council Awards Committee, and Fan Wu, Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Vice-Chair of the ACM China Council, co-chaired the meeting.
